The Single Phase Solar AC-DB is a critical safety and protection unit installed in Solar PV systems. It is placed between the Solar Inverter and the home’s main switchboard (or the Grid/Net Meter).
Its primary function is to receive the converted AC power from the inverter and direct it to the load, while providing vital protection against electrical surges, short circuits, and overloads. It also serves as a manual isolation point for maintenance.
